Tesla finally reached out...

On the 20th of May 2022, Elon Musk Tweeted: "Tesla is building a hardcore litigation department where we directly initiate & execute lawsuits. The team will report directly to me." I remember seeing this Tweet and I sent it to my friend Simon and I told him, "Uh oh, I wonder how many days until this team hunts down Wham Baam Teslacam"The answer is: 139 days.Yesterday, 5th of October, we received a cease-and-desist letter from Tesla. You can almost imagine the feeling I got when I saw the email, right? Sender: TESLASubject: Cease and Desist LetterWe usually joke about Tesla owners with the white interior having to clean them thoroughly after being in close calls, yeah let's just say same thing applied to my desk chair. I thought it was all over, that they would ask to shut down the YouTube channel.I opened the attached letter, and it was not regarding the YouTube channel - it was about a Tweet that I sent on September 27th. They asked us to remove the Tweet, and that we post a correction Tweet stating that the information in the first tweet was false. So here is the correction that we put out on Twitter yesterday:On the 27th of September we Tweeted that “none of the Tesla-certified body shops in Phoenix will take GEICO customers because GEICO will not pay what it costs to repair a Tesla.” According to a cease-and-desist letter we received from Tesla demanding the removal of that Tweet, this information is false. What we should have said is that one of our submitters TOLD US that was true. According to Tesla’s legal department, “Tesla-authorized collision centers in the Phoenix area continue to service GEICO vehicles.”So to sum it up: Jeff, the submitter, got interviewed by journalists, his insurance claim is sorted, Tesla confirmed that all authorized shops in Phoenix indeed have a green light with all insurance companies. The end. Happy ending for everyone. However, The Cease and Desist Letter did not specify how to publish the correction. So I'm a bit confused about that part.
